New Documentation: Video Tutorials

One of the things we are currently working on is expanding and revising our current documentation. This includes some exciting new video tutorials we are creating to help users learn SunBurn. The first series we are planning covers the editor and using it to create your scenes.

Editor Video Tutorials

At first the tutorials will be basic, simply introducing SunBurn to new users and getting their feet wet. Then the series will get progressively more in-depth, eventually covering prefabs, components, light mapping and more. We also have plans for other series focused on asset creation and programming.

This blog is to preview our first video tutorial and to get feedback from the community. We would like to know what you think, what we could improve and what you would like to see from future videos. Remember, these videos are for you so don't be shy with your input. Now without further ado, here is our first ever video tutorial.

Great job Ross! This should make the life easier for new customers and decrease the usual beginner questions.

Makes me think I didn't work on the promised FAQ. I need to get that sorted once I get IGF v0.4 ready ;)

Wow, awesome work Ross!  The video looks great.

Trying to cover the same content in the old article format would have taken a lot of reading.  These new videos are a huge improvement. :)

Pretty high quality in terms of content.

Definitely go into detail on custom rendering, effects and new major features whenever they launch :)

Thanks, this is exactly what I needed, very basic info for someone just starting to check out the engine and it looked great in 720p.  Your voice work was also very good.  Information like: using save in your current tab only saves what you changed in the current tab is very important to know.
