Sunburn is awesome.  XNA is awesome.  Sunburn + XNA makes me wanna program 32 hours a day.  Attached is what I am working on, I would love to know how many other projects out there are cooking up something cool in the oven!

Looks pretty cool :)

Do you have a Synopsis? It seems like a pretty big project :)

Don't have any fancy sunburn scenes to showcase at the moment...Been working mostly on engine related code, for both sunburn and other engine features. But, early febuari we (a new dev team) should have some cool screens to show you guys :) I can't wait to finally start building something great with Sunburn/XNA :)

Wow Travon that looks awesome. I'm pretty much like Tom right now and working on my game engine. I think I will have something to show by march.

Looking at your work just motivates me more. Thanks, It looks like the bar is starting to rise for Indie Games.

Thanks for the kind words.  Synopsis is a full 3D RPG with similar gameplay style to final fantasy 10.  We been working on it since march of last year and switched to sunburn in august.  There is soooo much in this game, 10 voice actors/actresses acting out an 18 page script.  In game cinematics.  28 characters/npcs/enemies all 5k-10k polys with full animations.  Control a party of 4 players in classic ATB style fights while leveling up, customizing skills, enchanting stuff, finding stuff, killing orcs, battling orcs, and all that other geeky stuff that makes RPG games fun.

Wow awesome work Travon!

Tom, there's some great information about Trinity Wars on TnT Gaming's site - I check the site regularly to see if there's new info.  I'm a big RPG fan and I'm looking forward to checking out the game when it's released.

Awesome work. I'll keep track of what you're doing, XBLIG really needs good 3D titles.

Can't wait to show some of the scenes we have for our upcoming game. The first scene implementation should be done within a week.

Will this still be an Xbox Indie Game or are aiming for Xbox Arcade? It just seems like with so much it will exceed the 150 meg limit set for Indie Games. Whatever the case, I can't wait to playtest it.

Thanks to lots of hard work from the start, we are only at 108 MB! Still some content to finish up though.  Thats using 512x512 textures for the characters.  This will hit playtesting early next month if we stay on schedule.

:O Didn't expect it to be only 108MB. that's pretty impressive. I'll definatly keep an eye out for playtesting.

Pretty good so far man.  I'd love to show what I've been messing around with.  I don't have a game but a bunch of mostly completed art for a few game concepts.  Hopefully soon though!

Those screenshots look fantastic Travon, looking forward to seeing more!!!

The standard of games that people seem to be developing for XBOX Indie Games seems to be going up exponentially. I just hope that when i finally get there my effort will bear up to the competition. All my time recently has revolved around building a level editor for my game/engine which is getting there slowly but doesn't really warrant any videos/screenshots yet.

Hello guys,

My team is still creating our XNA game engine, but now that we've added SunBurn and sgMotion, our progress should increase exponentially!

Our game project is IonX:2010, and will initially be a 2-3 level tech demo. Once the game is fully tested, we'll plug in several levels based on our storyline and release a Games for Windows version and eventually an XBOX live version after we upgrade SunBurn.

The plot is pretty simple: Communications with our company mining ship, the Heroic DSSMV, has been lost. Your mission is to travel to her last known location and complete a search and rescue scenario. Since we have no comms, everything is unknown. In the event that you cannot board the ship normally, you may have to use MSRAV ships (miniature search, rescue, attack vehicle) to ingress through 1 meter exhaust/drainage ports.

The Heroic is a deep sea/space mining vehicle whose current mission plan is to return home after the completion of a 2-year undersea mining excursion on OMP42. Odds are that the Heroic is still at the bottom of the sea, but her condition is unknown.

Once we have more to show, I'll start a thread here to showcase SunBurn's features in our game.

More screenshots can be found at the link

I'll probably update the blog tomorrow with some screenshots of the apartment. The current model is really only a placeholder (luckily!)
