The source code for the Terrain Mesh and Custom Physics plugins are commented similarly to the examples / kits.

Let me know if this helps!

Re: Custom Physics Example

That sentence didn't make any sense lol...One thing that I just realized is WHEN I am a little lost on how to use a plugin, I can download the source and look in there to see what it is doing.

Any chance the sources are commonly well documented with comments in the code?

...there much better :-)

Re: Custom Physics Example

yup that cleared that up. I had hoped the terrain was SB terrain in that example rather than a fbx model. however it looks like you have answered that question for me here http://www.synapsegaming.com/forums/t/3119.aspx

...so I am off to look at that. Has anyone in the community given any thought to building one example that highlights all the plugins and various features? I may try to compile at least one for all the plugins.

One thing that I think I just realized is I am a little lost on how to use a plugin I can download the source and look in there to see what it is doing. Any chance the sources are commonly well documented with comments in the code?

Re: Custom Physics Example

Hi maconbot,

Are you using the main Custom Physics example or the new one for Framework edition? The main example should show the scene objects in the editor, however the Framework version constructs the scene in code so the objects are not accessible in the editor (Framework edition does not have access the to editor).

The titles and descriptions of the two examples look the same, we'll definitely try to make it more clear what specific features each one provides.

Let me know if this helps!

Custom Physics Example

Greetings,

I am getting an error in the Custom Physics Example at line:

sceneInterface.CreateDefaultManagers(RenderingSystemType.Forward, true);

ERROR:
SunBurn Editor requires the main thread to use a single threaded apartment model. Please add the '[STAThread]' attribute to the Program.Main() method.

I go into my Program.cs and modify the Main method as below.

namespace CustomPhysicsExample
{
    static class Program
    {
        /// <summary>
        /// The main entry point for the application.
        /// </summary>
        [STAThread] static void Main(string[] args)
        {
            using (CustomPhysicsGame game = new CustomPhysicsGame())
            {
                game.Run();
            }
        }
    }
}

The scene loads but none of the objects appear in the SceneObjects tab and the Terrain also does not appear in it's respective tab. I had hoped these scenes were built using SB's graphical interface.

I am really hoping to find a way to use SB's terrain as a collider so that I can walk on it.
