Can someone explain to me what a parallax map does? I’ve been told that it is an image file with one channel that contains a displacement map and the other three channels containing a normal map. Is this true? Also, how do I make one? Thanks

JohnK, I was able to get it to work by opening the fbx model in another model editor and resaving it. Thanks for working on the problem for me.

Good news. I took my model and opened it in another editor and resaved it. Now it works. I still have a few problems but I think I’ll be able to work them out. Thanks Cemalsensivas.

Cemalsensivas, I loaded the, model and animation, viewer you suggested and sure enough my model didn’t work. This is a simple rigid model animation I created in DAZ Studio. Have you ever used DAZ to successfully create rigid or skinned animations? If not what do you use. I don’t want to pay a bunch of money to Autodesk for one of their tools

I have created a simple animated fbx model that I have been unable to import into my game. In the editor I will execute the following steps: 1. Right click on the Models node 2. Select “Import Model” 3. Select my model named “MoveBoxFBX.fbx” and click Open 4. In the “Change Content Pipeline Options dialog” I leave
